ACCESSIBILITY

Gardens

The Gardens are accessible by wheelchair. One area, The Woodland Walk is barked and an alternative route can be used.

Parking 

The Garden Centre has over 50 accessible parking bays for Blue Badge Holders and 30 dedicated family parking spaces.

Drop off point

We have a dedicated area for coach parking. Arrangements can be made for coaches to drop off near to the entrance of the garden centre.

Wheelchairs

Manual wheelchairs are available at the entrance to the Garden Centre on a first come, first serve basis.

Toilets

Adapted unisex, male and female toilets are available at the entrance to the Garden Centre and within the two main restaurants. Baby changing facilities are also available.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs (and their owners!) are allowed in The Bridgemere Show Gardens and the garden cafe, on a short lead.

EAT AND DRINK

Why not make it a great day out with a visit to one of our three cafes and restaurants.  The garden café is open to garden visitors or why not combine your garden visit with shopping in our Garden Centre and a visit to one of our two main restaurants. You can bring your four-legged best friend, we are dog friendly! 

Garden Café and Garden Restaurant

 

The Garden Café

An open-air café ideally situated within The Bridgemere Show Gardens. Ideal for coffee and cake. Weather permitting.

The Garden Restaurant

If your fancy breakfast, afternoon tea or lunch, this restaurant is the ideal stop off before or after a visit to The Bridgemere Show Gardens. Located within the Garden Centre, it also has an indoor dog friendly section.

The Main Restaurant

Serving all the classics and a full range of main meals, deserts and scrummy cakes and traybakes. Located within the main Garden Centre.

GETTING HERE

By Car

The Bridgemere Show Gardens is situated half a mile away from the village of Woore, on the London Road to Nantwich. From the M6 South, take Junction 16, the A500 exit to Crewe / Nantwich and follow the brown tourist signs.

By Train

The closest train station is Crewe (8 miles) There are no bus routes.

 

By Bike

Open air bike parking facilities are provided at the entrance to the Garden Centre.

The Garden Centre is Britain’s largest garden centre and has a huge range of top quality plants and gardening products. We also have a farm shop and a shopping village which includes brands such as Lakeland, Ripples Aquatics, Cotton Traders, Pets Corner and many more.

Whether you're after a quick coffee, a snack or a relaxed meal, you'll find something truly appetising in our restaurants and don’t forget to bring your four legged friend with you as we are dog friendly.

Established in 1962, 60 years ago, by John Ravenscroft, Bridgemere Nursery has grown from 6 acres to over 40 acers (the size of 20 football pitches).  Roses were the first crop  and it was known as the Bridgemere Rose and Shrub Nursery.  Today it is managed by John Simmonds with over 50 employees, the nursery has in excess of 400 years of horticultural experience. 
 
Some facts and figures
 
The nursery grows 1.3 million plants annually, over 4,000 varieties and is one of the largest nurseries in the UK. 
 
We grow in excess of:
•    700,000 shrubs
•    150,000 ericaceous plants
•    180,000 soft fruit
•    180,000 Roses
•    100,000 conifers 
 
The nursery supplies Bridgemere and all Blue Diamond Garden Centres, with over 65% of all shrubs on sale including, viburnum, laurel and choisya and the majority of all ericaceous plants such as, rhododendron, azalea, magnolia and camellia.
